Key and Peele: Game of Thrones Recap

1. Who doesn't love Key and Peele
2. Who doesn't love Game of Thrones

Key and Peele hilariously take on Game of Thrones in this latest sketch released right before the premiere of season 5 of Game of Thrones. Warning: This post and the Youtube clip contain spoilers from seasons 1-4 of Game of Thrones so look away if you're not up to date!

For those unfamiliar with Game of Thrones, basically all you need to know before checking out this Key and Peele clip is that they love to kill off their main characters. Key and Peele jump on this and hilariously discuss some of these deaths. Before I get in to it it's best you just check out the clip for your self! Its worth it, you get to see which one calls Peter Dinklage, aka the Dinkles, "my jam, my jelly, my peanut butter and my peanuts".

Watch below:

In this clip Key and Peele use their popular valet characters to recap the HBO show. "It's cold-blooded up in Westeros, dog" Peele says after Key said he was instantly hooked when he began binge watching the entire series.

My personal favourite was their take on Ned Starks death. When discussing this they say "Psst I ain't worried, they ain't gonna kill my boy Ned Stark" and then "Slit, and plop", followed by high pitch screaming. This summed up the Game of Thrones scene perfectly and in true Key and Peele style was hilarious.

Key and Peele KILLED this one.

Key and Peele: "Text Message Confusion" & "Ultimate C**k clocker"

Key and Peele's Text Message Confusion:

As the name suggests, this skit sheds light upon the many many confusions/flaws with emotionless texting where sarcasm cannot be conveyed between the sender and receiver. Key and Peele execute this confusion effortlessly with Key's little "air-flair" kicks of anger when he receives a reply from Peele when he asks:
Key - "do you wanna go?"

and Peele replies with:
Peele - "ok, lets go"

He gets so revved up about the assumed tone of Peele's replies that he goes into a fit of anger and frustration. He can't even find the words to express his anger that he resorts into a high pitched squealing sort of sound that just makes me crack up even more!
This conversations goes beyond my vocabulary, and I cannot stress how angry Key gets with his friend. It is absolutely priceless!! And also the tone that each of them read the texts out loud (hahahaha) its something that must be witnessed.

This is a "MUST watch" in my books.

Key and Peele's Ultimate C**k Blocker:

Both Key and Peele are both at the bar, checking out the fine ladies around the area. Key points out someone that he favours but Peele says otherwise. But just when Key isn't noticing, Peele goes in for the pick up line and scores the lady that Key originally had dibs on.

This happens throughout the duration of the skit; Peele steals all the girls that Key has his eye on. But later, it gets way way too out of hand, where he is resorted to drawing a really bad/childish drawing of a fine looking lady but, before his eyes, a picture of Peele appears and (as if it were predetermined by the audience) is c**k blocked in the most demotivational way possible. You can tell just by reading the title just how extreme this can get. And just when it cant get any better!! (Yes, there is more).

If you want to know what the other c**k blocking scenarios were, you have to check it out.

"Slap-Ass" and the sequel "Slap-Ass: In Recovery"

I'll admit, this skit is one of the best of the best, and the sequel following up even better than the last!! I was left in tears (of laughter) when I saw that Ralphie (Peele) had a problem of "slap-ass"-ing his baseball team, the Rhinos, too much. He pushed the limit of slap-ass when Garcia (Key) refuses his invitation. Everyone gets fed up and he stops at his 427th slap ass as per counted by the team. All he's ever known since he was a kid was to catch fly-balls and SLAP-ASS. He tries one more attempt but is then kicked out and suffers from withdrawal. He fishes out his last victim Garcia in the afternoon outside the change rooms and requests for one last slap-ass (By this point im dying! hahaHAHA)

This then continues to the sequel "Slap-Ass: In Recovery". Ralphie gets treated in rehabilitation and is back on track with his team members, yet they still believe otherwise. But they weren't wrong. This spark gets re-ignited once more when a new team mate Ruben, who is completely unaware of Ralphie's problem, slap-asses him! This brings back a tidal wave of emotions that have been bottled up inside sending his arm flying high in the air and landing squarely upon Ruben's right butt cheek. The screen blanks out.. Then assuming the worst of the worst, we see a picture of Ruben in remembrance 1983-2014 showing that he died by the hand of Ralphie making him his ultimate victim.

Key and Peele take on Epic Rap Battles of History

Not only do Key and Peele have their own sketch show on Comedy Central, but they have also been involved in several episodes of ‘Epic Rap Battles of History’. One of my favourites has got to be when Key and Peele take on Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali. Check it out below!

In this clip Key and Peele, as Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali respectively, battle it out. If there is ever a discussion on who the greatest athlete of all time is, these two are always mentioned. Key and Peele take this discussion to the next level and rap it out to determine who is the greatest athlete of all time.  Ali (Peele) appears to have the advantage with lines such as "You're whole basketball career turned whack, when you came back a wizard like Gandalf the Black" and "You fight like the little girls who make your Nike shoes". However Jordan (Key) hits back with lines such as "Cause you got as much chance of beating me as Lebron".

Who do you think won this battle?? Let us know in the comments below!

Key And Peele: Retired Military Dance Show!

I know what you're thinking looking at the title, but this blog is not about a dance contest for War Veterans, again we are looking at the genius comedy duo of Key and Peele who not only pull off some of the funniest sketches, they make amazing Parodies, like this one "Dance Off"
The parody pretty much reveals what every talent show on TV is really like. Shows such as; ALL the idol shows, The voice, "[Insert country here] got talent, so you think you can dance and the list goes on.

Starting with your standard lineup of judges, the pretentious male judge, suited up with a British accent, followed by your "feisty" punk female judge and topped off with your standard "smooth" male judge. The sketch looks at how the show may not be all about talent, but more about creating the perfect story, which you will notice in pretty much all the talent shows, that the contestants generally have some form of crazy life story!
But rather then just have me talk about it, maybe it'll be easier for you to check out the video here!

Similar to this kind of parody, Key and Peele also do a sketch called, " Retired Military Specialist", this time its looking at how movies portray retired specialists, a clear example of this is in the movie "R.E.D" where these retired specialists are pretty much gods of war. Key and Peele however take a more realistic approach at the effects of age on the human being and maybe shows that specialist or not, some people are better off staying in retirement.

Key and Peele: Substitute Teachers

The Substitute Teachers series of Key and Peele has to be their best performance yet! There are 4 short clips of the series.

Part 1 -
So, this substitute teacher named Mr. Garvey turns up for the class and starts taking the attendance. However, he goes berserk after he fails he spells the names wrong and gets corrected. By the time he spells Aaron for Ay-Ay-Ron (haha, dead laughing by this time) he's gone into a total meltdown. The funniest part comes when he spells Timothy as Tie-Mow-Thy and the guy actually responds without reacting xD

Part 2 -
This time, it's Mr. Nostrand turning up for the substitute class. He acts really hard in front of the class but it all turns incredibly hilarious when he drops his chalk and farts while picking it up. He then leaves the class without saying a word, with the class (and me and all the viewers) howling with laughter.

Part 3 -
It's Mr. Garvey back again! This time, shit gets real when Ay-Ay-Ron a.k.a Aaron asks to leave the club 15 minutes early due to club commitments and yearbook photos. Understandably this upsets Mr. Garvey who goes into a tantrum and shuts down each of the students who wishes to go to the school clubs rather harshly (and funnily!). However, Timothy (more like, Tie-Mow-Thy) gets the leave to pick up his daughter. HAHA!

Part 4 -
It's the substitute maths teacher's (Key) turn to spit his dummy out! His class is cut short from the first when Jay (Peele) mocks and mimicks his each move and the class laughs out loud at his hilarious acts. The teacher couldn't take it anymore and just loses it on the spot when he tries to mock back at Jay. The head teacher spots this out and drags the teacher outta the class, much to the class' amusement who later hails Jay as the hero. The teacher turns insane in the end :P xD

Next time, I'll be posting more stuff about other Key and Peele videos, plus a new parody series in YouTube named Diary of a Badman. Peace out \/
